The only way to keep up with the information about real estate
business is to constantly stay on the lookout for new information.
If you read everything you find about real estate business,
it won't take long for you to become an expert. Today we are
going to know about the type of real estate business. Generally,
many people who are not directly involve with real estate
business may have perception that the real estate business
is only about for people who looking for a house or building.
In fact, there are many of other categories of land and property
that could be available in real estate industry. It is compulsory
that anyone who want to enter to this business, no matter
they are seller, buyers, agents/broker to learn more about
how many type of real estate business, which will be very
useful for them to achieve the goal and worth their investment.
So what how many types of real estate are there?
In fact, real estate business can be divided in to two major
categories, which are real estate business and residential.
Of course they are different as each type has its own description
and guideline that indicate functions in real estate industry.
Residential refer to any kind of buildings that people use
for living, and this is perhaps has a largest proportion
and market share of the whole industry. The residential
area type itself can be divided into sub-categories determined
by the size and characteristics of the property. Generally,
residential can be divided into single home and multi-unit
residential building, which you have to share wall with
your neighbors such as condos or town homes.
A single home generally is a kind of building that has its
own land area and has different shapes. They usually be
built on a vacant land, which own by someone and the ownership
can be transferred to other person and this require legal
registration for the ownership transfer.
But the multi-unit residential is a bit different. For
example condominium is the building that constructed on
a land and divided into many room unites and the owner sell
each unit as a single residential area. Once the ownership
of a room has been transferred the new room owner will get
only a single unit not the entire building.
Now let’s talk about the business real estate. It
can also be divided into several categories, which generally
refer to commercial building and the property development
of manufacturing sites. However, there are some other form
of business such land trade and land developments.
There are difference in terms of regulations and laws that
applied to business/commercial building and residential
building for example, there are more rules for establishing
new office building in terms of zone, tax and insurance,
which we will not see these rules applied to residential
types. In some case, zoning is the main issue for somebody
who want to build home and office building or manufacturing
sites in the same area which is not possible except they
have settle in the right area that allowed for both types
of building can be built.
So is there really any information about type of real estate
that is nonessential? We all see things from different angles,
so something relatively insignificant to one may be crucial
to another.
